Wife crushes husband's head with her 128kg weight, then later dies herself

A bizarre turn of events at one family house has led to two sudden deaths and one person being injuried in Ramdham, South West Nagpur, India.
Manjula Vithlani, 68, died after she slipped on the stairs trying to help her son who had developed a breathing problem
It was an ordinary day until 68-year-old Manjula Vithlani rushed to her son’s help when he experienced some breathing problems.
As soon as the woman and her husband Natvarlal heard about their son’s health difficulties they immediately tried to climb the stairs.
At one point, Mrs Vithlani slipped on
the stairs and landed on top of her husband who had been hurriedly following her up.
The man suffered bad head injuries and was almost crushed to death under the impressive weight of his 128kg wife.
The situation became even more unbelievable when the couple’s daughter-in-law tried to help them but also slipped on the floor.
The young woman who suffered leg injuries and her in-laws were admitted to the local hospital, where they passed away of cerebral haemorrhage.
Giving the details of the tragic incident a Rajkot Taluka police station official said: “Her in-laws also woke up and hurriedly tried to go upstairs to check his health.
However, Manjula could not keep her balance and slipped. She fell on Natvarlal who was climbing behind her. They were rushed to a private hospital where both died of cerebral haemorrhage.
Investigating officer added: “The couple always remained anxious about their son’s health. On getting to know that he had taken ill, they tried to reach the first floor in too much hurry.”
