The Nigerian entertainment industry was thrown into mourning this morning as report surfaced that talented singer, songwriter and producer Babatunde Okungbowa popularly known as OJB Jezreel has passed away .

OJB Jezreel passed away at the Isolo General Hospital in Lagos
Recall that in 2013, the music producer was flown
for a Kidney transplant in India. His first wife, Mama J, had donated one of her kidneys to save his life and he has been doing well since then.

Sources said he had a relapse about two weeks ago and was kept on daily dialysis before his sudden death.
His death comes at a time the country is already mourning the loss of two prominent Nigerians, Stephen Keshi and Shuaibu Amodu , who both died last week.
Nigerians are concerned over the sudden deaths which have taken place in less than a week.
Reacting to OJB’s death, some Nigerians said they want answers from the health sector as the deaths are all health related.
Kemi Olunloyo wrote: “#‎RIP‬ OJB Jezreel. The guy I told to go to hell after aggressively begging money for kidneys on my page only to find out it was 419 scammers trying to defraud me, Tuface and DBanj on our fanpages. The poor dude later reached out to me apologizing it wasn’t him but he needed kidney surgery. I sent him a huge amount of dollars. Sleep well. U are now free. Everyone can google that scam story.”
Also reacting, Peter Okoye said OJB will be surely missed.
Some others are wondering why the old people are still alive while death is coming for the young ones.
