Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), a pro-Biafran group, has opined that the giant of Africa, Nigeria, is at the verge of disintegration.
A release from the spokesperson of the group, Emma Powerful,indicates that what is precipitating the nation’s disintegration is ethnicity, unbridled corruption and clueless leadership.
“Everyone in this contraption called Nigeria knows that Nigeria right now is on a path of doom. It’s not a thing of joy to remember the good old days when patriotism and love for our old country called Nigeria superceded all ambitions of any political office holder.
“What they believe is ethnic bigotry. This shows that Nigeria is no more one indivisible entity.
“Nigeria is a country blessed with huge human and natural resources in Africa but it is on a verge of disintegrating due to high ethno-bigotry affiliation and religious clashes, ethnic violence, ruthless wickedness and high grade corruption,” the release laments.
