New Fuel Price: See how much NNPC stations will sell fuel

Following the removal of subsidy on Premium Motor Spirt (PMS) by President Muhammadu Buhari and pegging the price of petrol per litre at N145, the minister of state for petroleum resources and managing director of NNPC, Dr Ibe Kachikwu has revealed price of petrol at NNPC stations.

Mr Kachikwu who said NNPC stations and affiliate will sell fuel between N135 to N145 explained that in the cities across the country, the government stations will sell fuel between N140 and N145 per litre while in the suburbs; it will sell for N135- N140 per litre.

He made this known when he appeared on Channels television on Thursday, May 12 adding that on price cap, at the initial stage, guidelines on pricing mechanism set to ensure fair value and ultimately allow market dynamics set in.

He noted that monies saved from the removal of subsidy will be put to fix the refineries and also put into the economy.

He begged Nigerians to believe in him saying that he works day and night to ensure that Nigerians do not suffer for fuel. He said the Buhari led APC federal government is sincere and committed to ensuring that Nigerians live well.
