Another kidnapped chibok girl has been found and rescued


Second Chibok girl rescued according to Nigerian army spokesperson, Colonel Sani Usman.

This was contained in a statement made available to NAIJ.com on May 19, Thursday. However, army’s spokesman could not provide further details at the time of writing this report.

On Tuesday night, the first of the missing girls apparently wandered out of a forest, accompanied by a baby and a man, who claimed to be her husband, was rescued by the group of the Civilian Joint Task Force.

Army officials and locals gave different accounts of how the first was freed. President Muhammadu Buhari has today met with the Amina Ali nkeki , the rescued Chibok girl.

The Sambisa forest is considered to be the terrorist group’s stronghold, has long been the suspected location of the girls. 276 of schoolgirls were abducted at gunpoint from their boarding school in Chibok in Borno state on April 14, 2014.
